Trine 5: A Mechanical Conspiracy has been announced, and once again rallies the unlikely heroes Zoya, Pontius and Amadeus against a dastardly plan to take over the kingdom.
The announcement trailer for trine 5 promises more of the fantasy puzzle platformer action you’ve come to know and love. It shows the three heroes using their abilities to traverse their environments in creative ways; Zoya’s arrows can bounce to hit switches and far objects, Amadeus can manipulate objects, and Pontius can use his sword as a platform. Frozenbyte and publisher THQ Nordic are promising”trinethe deepest and most visually rich chapter to date” in Trine 5: A Mechanical Conspiracy. The game supports up to 4 players in local or online co-op, but you can also play it in single player if you wish.
trine 5 it also promises an “enhanced puzzle difficulty system” that dynamically changes how difficult puzzles are based on the number of players involved. If it’s just you, you might find it easier, but when four of you are playing together, things will get pretty devilish. That system will apparently apply to combat as well, with the difficulty adjusting based on the number of players.
Other features that come to trine 5 includes customizable outfits for all three heroes, as well as new characters (and returning favorites if you’re a fan of the series). This will be “trine“The most epic story yet,” according to the developers, and will feature a greater number of levels, puzzles, and battles than previous games. In short, if you are already a trine fan, you will surely love this.
Trine 5: A Mechanical Conspiracy is coming to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch this summer. No release date has been announced yet, so watch this space for more information.
