Today Capcom released another video of the upcoming fighting game. street fighter 6focusing squarely on the soundtrack.
The video previews the theme song for Cammy, who is one of the most storied characters in the series, having appeared in Super Street Fighter II in 1993.
Her return was revealed a couple of months ago during a PlayStation State of Play live stream along with two other characters, Lily and Zangief (both Lily and Zangief already got their own musical revelations. Unless I’m terribly wrong, Cammy was the last one that disappeared).
You can see his track in the following video.
If you’re not familiar with Cammy, here’s an update on her Capcom background.
“First appearance in super street fighter I, Cat-loving Cammy returns with her beloved arsenal of high-powered attacks, including Spiral Arrow, Cannon Spike, and Hooligan Combination. The heavy version of each of those three moves has been buffed to allow for a delay that results in altered properties for high damage. She visits King Street, Cammy’s misty industrial setting and pulls off deadly Super Art moves like the Killer Bee Spin and Delta Red Assault to bring opponents to their knees and send the crowds buzzing.
We’ve recently seen a lot of gameplay clips showing full matches played by the developers, including Cammy vs. Manon, Lily herself vs. E. Honda, Marisa vs. Manon, Dee Jay vs. Dhalsim, Blanka vs. JP, and Zangief vs. Marisa. We also recently learned that Japanese actress Hikaru Takahashi has joined the commentator list for the real-time commentary feature introduced for the game.
street fighter 6 it will be released on June 2, 2023. This time, it will return to its cross-platform nature, as it will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
