THQ Nordic and the wonderfully named Owned by Gravity have used their divinatory wizardry to reveal the SpellForce: Conquest of Eo release date. The tactical strategy game is coming to PC via Steam on February 3, giving you the chance to once again prove your strategic and magical prowess on the battlefield.
When conquest of Eo lands, will offer fast-paced turn-based strategy action with a fantasy twist. You are a wizard and it is up to you to become the most powerful of your kind, holding your own against the challenges of rival wizards. To do so, you’ll recruit powerful heroes to venture across the land, bringing back artifacts and riches, and learn a multitude of magical spells to give you mastery over the elements themselves. You will have access to classes such as Necromancer, Alchemist, and Artificer, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Necromancers, unsurprisingly, can control the dead, while artificers create glyphs and items to bolster and enhance their armies. Whatever your preferred brand of magical power, chances are you’ll find it on sale at SpellForce: Conquest of Eo.
Being a 4X game, you will have to expand your territory, search for resources in the land around you and deal with the rival forces that threaten your power. You’ll have access to a mobile wizard tower that you can upgrade with new rooms and chambers, so if you’ve ever wanted to literally rule over a horde of undead from your necromancer’s crypt, you can do it here.
