THQ Nordic has announced that a Remnant: From the Ashes The switch port is in process. The Soulslike shooter is headed to Nintendo’s console sometime in the future, and unfortunately, that’s all the information we have on a release date at the moment.

According to the official THQ Nordic Twitter account, Remnant: From the Ashes It’s coming to Nintendo Switch “soon.” This news was accompanied by a new trailer for the game, which features gameplay captured on the Switch hardware. It looks pretty solid considering the Switch is approaching its sixth birthday. You can see that trailer here.

The trailer is quite short, but it shows Remnant: From the Ashes‘Similar gunplay to Souls on Switch, so you can expect to be playing the game on the go in the near future (assuming you haven’t tried it on the Steam Deck yet, of course). We get brief glimpses of the Demon Root and its control over humanity, as well as some of the game’s procedurally generated environments and tense shooter combat.

Remnant: From the AshesThe presence on Switch probably shouldn’t come as a surprise, given that the game racked up 2.5 million sales in its first year or so. A sequel, currently called remnant 2, was also unexpectedly announced at The Game Awards last year, though that one won’t be coming to Switch. Instead, it’s coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S sometime this year.

If you haven’t tried yet Remnant: From the Ashesyou can pick it up right now at personal computer, ps4Y xbox one. The game can also be played on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S through backwards compatibility.
