Microsoft and Bethesda have released another trailer for the upcoming first-person shooter red drop by Arkane Austin, focusing on one of his heroes.
We meet Jacob Boyer, who used to be a military sniper who went on to join a PMC. The trailer offers a look into his backstory and then moves on to showing off gameplay.

This is how Arkane officially describes Jacob.
“An ex-military sniper turned private contractor. An encounter with a vampire god left Jacob with a mysterious vampire eye, a spectral raven that’s never far from his side, and a ghostly sniper rifle.”
This follows another trailer showing another of Redfall’s characters, Layla Ellison. We’ll likely see even more character trailers as we get closer to the game’s release date.
red drop it will launch for PC and Xbox Series X|S on May 2, 2023. Of course, being its own game, it will launch on day one on Game Pass for both platforms. We also recently learned that it will support crossplay.
