
Today, publisher Anchor and developer NextNinja released a new trailer for the upcoming muv-luv mobile game Muv-Luv Dimensions.
The trailer focuses on one of the original Muv-Luv heroines, Chizuru Sakaki, showing off her new character design and voice actress (who took over with the recent Muv-Luv Alternative anime), Miku Ito. He may be familiar with her roles as Lorraine Lucksaw in The Diofield ChroniclesAgnes Claudel in The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki and its sequel, Miku Nakano in The Quintessential Quintupletsand more.

If you are not familiar with Muv-Luv Dimensionsis a free mobile game for iOS and Android based on the popular muv-luv Visual novel series. It was originally released last year as muv-luv immortals, but he was hit with major troubles and immediately withdrew. Publisher anCHOR decided to completely overhaul the game by bringing in experienced mobile developer NextNinja, who is now preparing for a full relaunch.
If you want to see more, we recently saw character trailers for Mana Tsukuyomi, Marimo Jinguuji, Ilfriede von Feulner, Yui Takamura, and Takatsugu Ikaruga. For now, the game has been announced for Japan only. But hopefully anCHOR and NextNinja will also release it in English later on.
The franchise is widely considered to be one of the best (if not the best) visual novel series of all time and one of the first isekai stories to make a splash in Japanese pop culture when the genre was not as saturated as it is now. It mixes a tragic and romantic story with one of the best and deepest sci-fi worlds ever written. It is so influential that attack on titan mangaka Hajime Isayama cited it several times as one of his main sources of inspiration. +
Most muv-luv The visual novels are currently available in English. on Steam (while muv-luv and Muv-Luv Alternative have also been released on PS Vita) alongside the early access action game Project MIKHAIL: A Muv-Luv War Story.
Recently, we also saw the release of volume 2 of the Regenerative Muv-Luv magazine on Steam, delving into the world of the franchise, while some fancy plastic model kits have been announced.
