Today, during the King of Fighters XV tournament at EVO Japan, SNK had a new sneak peek to share about the upcoming Fatal Fury game.

The advance, transmitted in twitch during the tournament, it included a single piece of artwork and the phrase “New Fatal Fury / Garou Furiously in Development”.

That being said, the artwork is certainly packed with meaning for fans of the series, as it shows off three of its most relevant characters, Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, and Joe Higashi.

This is the second piece of art displayed for the game. The first was revealed alongside the fact that the title had been greenlit at EVO 2022 in August of last year and featured Rock Howard.

If you are not familiar with fatal fury, known in Japan as Densetsu Garou, is one of SNK’s most established fighting game series from the beloved Neo Geo era. Debuted in 1991, but has been dormant since 1999 when SNK released Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

Some of the characters in the series have continued to be active in the king of fighters series, but the fatal fury The franchise holds a special place in the hearts of SNK fans. One of its most relevant elements is a very complex and interesting story, something that today is quite rare in fighting games.
