Today publisher Anchor and developer NextNinja hosted an extensive livestream providing an update on the upcoming mobile game Muv-Luv Dimensions.
During the live stream, the developers showed off more characters that will be implemented at launch of the game and their new voice actors, starting with some of Alternate Total Eclipse by Muv-Luv.
Yui Takamura will be played by Ayano Makihara.
Yuya Bridges will be played by Naoyuki Shimozuru.
Inia Sestina will be voiced by Akiho Suzumoto and actually got her own trailer.

We then move on to the prequel set in East Germany, Schwarzesmarken, beginning with one of its main heroines, Irisdina Bernhard, who will be voiced by Hitomi Yoshida.
Next, we take a look at one of the greatest antagonists ever written, Beatrix Brehme, voiced by Rika Abe.
Then we receive the revelation of three characters from Muv-Luv Alternative Chronicles Worship (included in Muv-Luv Photon Tunes), beginning with Ilfriede von Feulner, voiced by Saeko Tachibana.
Lunateresia von Witzleben is played by Rana Morishita.
Helgarose von Falkenmayer will be played by Aino Shimada.

We then received a series of video messages from the voice actors who were previously introduced and are the same ones who appeared in the Muv-Luv Alternative anime
Finally, we have the introduction of a new character created specifically for Muv-Luv DimensionsMashiro Akatoki, voiced by Arisa Sakuraba.
We also hear that pre-registrations are now at a mere 125,000, which would unlock the next goal after the collaboration with Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien. An official release date has not been announced at the moment. Another broadcast is scheduled for mid-June, so we may hear more.
If you are not familiar with Muv-Luv Dimensionsis a free mobile game for iOS and Android based on the popular muv-luv Visual novel series. It was originally released last year as muv-luv immortals, but he was hit with major troubles and immediately withdrew. Publisher anCHOR decided to completely overhaul the game by bringing in experienced mobile developer NextNinja, who is now preparing for a full relaunch.
If you want to see more, we recently saw character trailers for Mana Tsukuyomi and Marimo Jinguuji. For now, the game has been announced for Japan only. But hopefully anCHOR and NextNinja will also release it in English later on.
The franchise is widely considered to be one of the best (if not the best) visual novel series of all time and one of the first isekai stories to make a splash in Japanese pop culture back when the genre was not as saturated as it is now. It mixes a tragic and romantic story with one of the best and deepest sci-fi worlds ever written. It is so influential that attack on titan mangaka Hajime Isayama cited it several times as one of his main sources of inspiration. +
Most muv-luv The visual novels are currently available in English. on Steam (while muv-luv and Muv-Luv Alternative have also been released on PS Vita) alongside the early access action game Project MIKHAIL: A Muv-Luv War Story.
Recently, we also saw the release of volume 2 of the Regenerative Muv-Luv magazine on Steam, delving into the world of the franchise, while some fancy plastic model kits have been announced.
