
Netherrealm has officially introduced mortal kombat 1the next full length game Mortal Kombat series. The game promises to be a “new era” of Mortal Kombat, complete with a new system, new game modes, and new Fatalities, and will take place in a “reborn” universe. As the trailer approaches its apex, Liu Kang appears from the sky and walks into a flaming sphere, from which emerges the figure of the series’ antagonist Shang Tsung. After that, we have a montage of characters who are unspeakably, brutally violent with each other in the iconic Mortal Kombat shape.
Liu Kang says that choosing to defy peace is choosing “war with a god,” and after performing a particularly brutal Fatality, the trailer concludes. Phew. That is one way of presenting the game. The trailer doesn’t show any gameplay, but the game isn’t too far off in terms of a release date, so hopefully it won’t be too long until we see something.
