
On the heels of a delay for Japan, Xseed & Marvelous announced the coming-of-age JRPG’s western release date. Loop8: Summer of the Gods.
The game will launch for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 6, just a few days after the new Japanese release date.
The price of the standard edition is $49.99 and the limited edition of Celestial will be priced at $69.99. Of course, Steam users don’t get that one, but a special Digital Deluxe edition will be available for $59.99 with the original soundtrack and a digital art book.

The Celestial Edition includes a 5.25″ by 7.25″ softcover art book with over 50 pages, a CD of musical selections, a 7″ by 10.5″ mini wall scroll, and an ema from 4″ by 3.15″ Japanese wood, all packaged in a custom box. (and you can see what it looks like below).

- Options that can change the world: Loop8’s emotion-driven AI system responds to every action and decision you make. The emotions and stories of the characters will vary greatly depending on your choices, making each game completely unique.
