The developers at Creative Assembly have revealed the “We Took Manhattan” map that makes its way to the upcoming first-person shooter, hyenas
We take a look at the world of hyenas, a multiplayer first-person shooter is headed to Steam. The trailer just shows off the new map, but it gives us a good idea of what to expect. “We Took Manhattan” is obviously inspired by New York City, where we see a fallen Statue of Liberty, some train stations and bus stops, and a couple of iconic restaurants that you’d probably see in the Big Apple. One might think that this trailer shows us the group of Hyenas literally taking over the Manhattan area, but it is not. This is a recreation of the city and it takes place in outer space, not on Earth, as it has been left to rot, on the decrepit, dreary rock they call home.

hyenas takes place in “The Taint”, a ramshackle and unforgiving slum teeming with criminals and the poorest of the poor. The wealthy were able to leave this wasteland behind and move to Mars, and while they live in the lap of luxury, the less fortunate are left to fend for themselves to find the means to survive.
At the time of writing, there is no set release date for the game, but it is currently in its Alpha state. The developers encourage players to sign up for PC Alpha, which can be done on the game’s official page. website.
