All the news and previews from Nintendo Indie World for April 2023; Oxenfree 2 release date and more

Nintendo has just broadcast its Indie World Showcase, bringing news and reveals for indie fans.

The stream, which was teased yesterday, included a look at many indie games coming to Nintendo Switch (and some of them coming to other platforms as well) in the coming months.

We start off with the super cute Japanese-style narrative adventure game Mineko’s Night Market by Meowza Games, which will be released on September 26, 2023.

Next, we hear from China’s Pathea Games, showing My time in Sandrockthe sequel to My time in Portia. Coming to Nintendo Switch this summer.

For lovers of cooking simulation, PlateUp! by Yogscast Games brings some rogue-lite action and asks you to keep your customers happy during randomly generated turns. It’s coming in October 2023, and if you’re wondering, it’s cross-platform.

Monster Crunch featured Quilts and Calico Catsan adaptation of the board game Calico. It will arrive in the fall of 2023.

get ready games introduced the rhythm game Rift of the NecroDancer, an independent spin-off of the popular Necrodancer’s Crypt. The wait will not be too long since it will arrive this year.

Bigmode provided a fresh look at the upcoming pixel art game good animal, arriving in early 2024.
