Activision seems to be very interested in promoting the new premium battle pass for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and war zone 2.0 called black cell.
Introduced with the recently released Season 03, this new premium Battle Pass is $29.99 and includes a special Operator, loads of COD Points, its own Battle Pass sector, and a ton of additional items and skins.
While it already received a dedicated trailer a few days ago, apparently someone at Activision feels we didn’t get the memo, so they’ve released another one, this time promising to share “everything you need to know about BlackCell.”

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 It is currently available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. war zone 2.0 is its free-to-play Battle Royale spin-off and is available for the same platforms.

For now, the future of the Obligations The series remains uncertain due to factors not directly related to the franchise. While we already know that a new premium game will be released this year, the pending acquisition of Activision Blizzard could bring changes in direction. Microsoft has been striking deals with companies like Nintendo and Nvidia to get the franchise on Switch and Geforce Now.
This means that the franchise could reach entire groups of new users with its future iterations, but it all depends on whether the deal goes through. Microsoft and Activision expect to close the acquisition on June 30, but regulators have delayed at the urging of rival Sony, which appears determined to block the acquisition at all costs, by rejecting deals similar to the one offered to Nintendo. We’ll have to wait and see.
